Bindal municipality collected 12 pictures from my Lifeline-series for the new Bindal Helsetun, opening in 2022. 

This is from the opening day. In front of me is Erling Alsli, one of the two boatbuilders from Alslia. The other boatbuilder is Jann Alsli, but he could not attend that day. In front is the mayor of Bindal municipality, Britt Helstad.

The mayor is wearing the municipal weapon. Bindal municipality’s municipal coat of arms is six gold rivets (boat seams) in a rosette on a blue background. This symbolizes the boat building traditions in Bindal.
