I am deeply honoured that Arno Rafael Minkkinen contributed with an essay in the book, the title being Like hands lifted in prayer.

There are still some copies of the book at Helgeland Museum.

For the first time in history Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja visited Bindal municipality in 2023. The King and Queen received the book ‘Lifelines’ as a present from Helgeland Museum.

Their Majesties arrived with Norwegian Royal Yacht Norge. It was a beautiful sight on the fjord surrounded by ‘my’ mountains. I truly am impressed by the King and Queen and how they perform their duties in a professional and pleasant way. Furthermore, it was rather surreal to experience His Majesty the King’s Guard 3. Company giving a full military tattoo in this small municipality where I grew up. A truly impressive performance!

As part of the cultural program, they visited Helgeland Museum branch Bindal, where the King and Queen received my book ‘Lifelines’ as a present. I am deeply honored.
